Taste and learn about some of Italy’s finest craft beers. Our beers and bites walking tour is the perfect way to relax and unwind after a day of more adventurous sightseeing by sampling some of Italy’s increasingly celebrated craft beer offerings. Accompanying you around the ancient and atmospherically rich neighborhood of Regola, our English-speaking guide will enlighten you in regard to the areas history as the training ground for Rome’s once feared triga cart riders. Stopping at a number of authentic cafes and bars, you will then be introduced to some of Italy’s most exciting craft beers and their traditional food pairings. Of course, wine is the drink most commonly associated with Italy. However, the north of the country has played host to the emergence of a proud micro-brewing tradition in recent years, with the finest craft beers being increasing celebrated in the Italian capital. Experienced as part of an intimate group setting, our beers and bites tour will then cross the Tiber toward Trastevere. Here you will once again learn some of the history of the area before sampling yet more popular craft beers and relaxing in typical Italian style in bars sandwiched between the areas cobbled streets and ancient town houses.

I was impressed by the many different experiences we had. The only glitch occurred on the final day when we had to leave really early because 2 people had to get to the airport. I think it would have been better had they had alternative transport so that we would not have had to start so early. Also when we got to Delhi, our guide had to arrange an extra trip for us to fill in the time. Our flight did not go until early in the morning and we were not allowed into the departure area of the airport until three hours before the flight which meant we had a very uncomfortable stay in the arrivals area. That last day could certainly have been better organised. The bus ( air conditioned - thank goodness) on which we travelled was large enough for nearly everyone to have a window seat which was great! Water was readily available and our guide Mahipal was excellent. I would certainly recommend this tour.

INTERNATIONAL AND DOMESTIC FLIGHTS

Why is it important that I give my name as it appears on my passport when booking a tour?

Due to increased travel security and policies around the world, it is now a requirement that your airline ticket matches your first and last name exactly as it reads on your passport. Please note that any changes to the details of your air booking could be subject to a change fee, penalties or cancellation.

Can I reserve a seat assignment?

For our packages that include flights, we do not usually assign seats. In most cases, you can request specific seats, but this may incur a small fee payable to the airline. For more information, contact our sales and reservations staff.

Once confirmed, are airline seats always guaranteed?

In most cases, seat assignments are firm. However, airlines may sometimes reassign seats for operational reasons. This often happens at the last moment and is controlled by airline staff, with Indus Travel not being notified. Passengers are encouraged to reconfirm their seat assignments and any other special requests directly with their airline prior to departure.

Should I check-in online?

It always recommended and more convenient to check-in online. It will shorten your waiting time at the airport, secure your seat assignments and other reservations.

Can I request a special meal on the flight?

Requests may be made for special meals. These requests will be sent on your behalf to the airline so long as Indus receives these requests prior to your documents being issued. The availability of special meals will be based upon the specific airlines and will be at their discretion.

Can I use my frequent flier miles?

Accrued frequent flier miles cannot be used toward the purchase of Indus Travels’ airfare or used for class upgrades. However, airfare purchased through Indus Travels may qualify to earn you additional miles.
